The short version

• You can play Cube Forge without an account. Your game is saved on your phone.
• We never ask for your email, your real name, your phone number or your location.
• Players under 16 ("kid mode") send no usage data and no crash reports.
• Players 16 and older are asked first. Usage data and crash reports are only sent if you tap "Accept". "Only necessary" works just as well for playing.
• There is no free chat. Clans can only send friendly preset messages.
• We do not sell your data. We do not store your IP address in our database.

What we store and why

If you make an account

• Player name and password — so you can log in. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), we can't read it.
• Recovery code — stored scrambled too. It lets you get back into your account without an email.
• Cloud save — your game progress, so you can play on a new phone. We keep the newest save and the one before it.
• Game stats (highest cube, boss level, merges, collection, play time) — for your profile and the leaderboards.
• Profile (avatar cube, title, badges) and clan (clan name, role, preset clan messages) — so other players can see them.
• When you were last online — to show "online" to your clan and friends.
• Reports you send about names or cheating — so we can keep the game friendly.

Other players can see your player name, avatar, title, badges, stats, clan and whether you are online. They can't see anything else.

For everybody

• Install id — a random number your app makes when it is installed. It is not linked to your phone's hardware.
• Your age choice and your consent choice (under 16 / 16+, accept / only necessary, with the date) — we must be able to show what you agreed to. This is stored even when you say no, but without any other data.
• Short-lived technical data: to stop attacks, the server remembers how many requests came from an internet address for up to one hour, only in memory. It is never written to our database, and the web server's access log is switched off.

Only with your "Accept" (16+)

• Usage data: which parts of the game you use, for example "a session started", "a tutorial step was done", "a new cube was reached", "a reward ad was watched", which upgrade was bought, the app version, phone model, Android version and language. We use it to fix problems and make the game more fun.
• Crash reports: the technical error text when the app crashes, the app version, phone model and Android version.

You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings. If you switch usage data off, we delete the usage data from your install that we already have.

Ads and purchases

Reward ads are always optional: you choose to watch one to get a bonus. For kid mode only child-safe, non-personalized ads may be shown. Purchases are handled by Google Play; we never see your payment details. Cube Forge has no loot boxes and no paid random items.

How long we keep data

• Account, cloud save, stats and clan: until you delete your account.
• Usage data: 13 months, then it is deleted automatically.
• Crash reports: 90 days.
• Clan chat messages: 30 days.
• Consent records: as long as needed to prove consent.
• Backups of the database: 14 days.

Where the data is

Our server is a rented server (VPS) at [HOSTING PROVIDER AND COUNTRY — fill in before Google Play release]. The connection to it is encrypted (HTTPS). Only the game developer can access it.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account inside the game (Settings → Account → Delete account) or on our delete account page. This removes your account, cloud save, stats, clan membership, clan messages and usage data linked to your account. Backups are overwritten within 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain about how we use it. Write to valsa49qwaksy52@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Parents

Cube Forge is made for all ages. Kids under 16 play in kid mode, which sends no usage data and no crash reports. Kids do not need an account to play. If your child made an account and you want it deleted, use the delete account page or write to us with the player name.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For important changes we will tell you in the game.
